Synopsis

In the rural regions of Paulistas and Soledade in Goiás, Brazil, the effects of monoculture farming and water resource exploitation are evident. Since the early 1990s, these practices have driven a significant rural exodus, leaving no young people in the area as of 2014. Set during July's vacation period, the film captures moments when children return to visit their parents. These visits reveal the challenges faced by the aging population and the shifting dynamics of a community altered by agricultural changes.
