Synopsis

Mila’s parents are blind, and she is a 7-year-old who can see. This unique dynamic requires Mila to be independent, as her parents just have to let go at times. Whether they are crossing the road or doing housework, Mila’s parents trust her from an early age. However, they also strive to ensure that Mila does not feel burdened with the responsibility of looking out for the family. They want her to enjoy a normal childhood. Carolina Machhaus meets the family to understand how they navigate these challenges and maintain a balance between independence and support.
