Synopsis
Rani, a widow in a Gujarat village, struggles to support her family while adhering to oppressive traditions. She marries her son Gulab to a child bride, Janki, despite his rebellious nature. Lajjo, Rani's friend, faces abuse from her husband due to her infertility. Bijli, an erotic dancer, advises them both.
