Synopsis
Concrete towers rise above heritage sites, obscuring places of ecological and communal importance. Traffic drowns out the voices of those living beneath layers of urban development. In a world of constant construction, remnants of past environments are erased to make way for new infrastructure. The soundscapes and visuals in "palimpsest" reflect this ongoing cycle of removal and replacement. The documentary runs for nine minutes and was released in 2023.
