Synopsis

Beverly Ho works to preserve Chinese cultural heritage in Vancouver's Chinatown. She collaborates with local volunteers to combat the rise of luxury condos and expensive cafes that threaten the neighborhood's identity. The documentary follows their efforts to maintain community traditions and spaces amid rapid development. It captures the challenges they face and the commitment of those determined to protect their cultural roots. The film runs for 54 minutes and was released in 2017.
