Synopsis

Zainichi Koreans have lived in Japan for generations. Over the Rainbow covers their history and the role of pro-North Korean schools. These schools faced a closure order, protests, and eventual withdrawal of that order, enduring for 70 years. The film presents the current lives of Zainichi Koreans alongside their past.
