Synopsis

Outside Highbury Magistrates Court, armed robbers, lifelong thieves, and anxious fathers gather on a stretch of pavement. They wait for their cases to be heard, revealing their lives through tense conversations with filmmaker Marc Isaacs. Over three months, Isaacs captures the stories of these individuals, who grapple with their pasts and present circumstances. The film presents a stark contrast between the judgments of the court and the deeper understanding that emerges through personal narratives.
