Synopsis
Juanita Onzaga reflects on her youth in Colombia during the violent 1980s and 1990s. "Our Movie" (Nuestra Pelicula) uses a rich archive of news footage to present stark images of blood, bullet holes, and coffins alongside scenes of Colombians protesting in the streets. The film captures the pervasive sorrow felt by many and illustrates the lasting impact of violence on a nation grappling with its complex history.
