Synopsis
Orson Welles performs magic tricks in a television special filmed between 1976 and 1985. His lifelong fascination with magic began in childhood when he learned from Harry Houdini. Welles assures the audience that no trick photography is used in his acts. After his death in 1985, Oja Kodar donated the unfinished footage to the Munich Film Museum. In 2000, the museum edited the material into a 27-minute cut, which has been screened at various film festivals but remains unreleased on video or DVD.
