Synopsis

In Seville's Triana district, Pepa, Antoñita, Pepi, Esperanza, Remedios, Kiska, Catalina, and Rafaela, aged 68 to 97, pursue their dream of becoming monologuists. They form a company and create a show titled Orgullo vieja. The film documents their rehearsals, the premiere in Seville, and their performances across Andalusia. Through their efforts, they seek to gain respect and visibility for older women in the entertainment industry.
