Synopsis

Ali Arif Ersen, a painter and photographer from Turkey, was diagnosed with locked-in syndrome. This condition leaves him unable to move or speak. Orchids in Fire depicts Ersen's efforts to adapt to his new life while pursuing his love for art and jazz. Through his work, he seeks to communicate and rebuild his life despite the limitations imposed by his illness. Directed by Selin Senkoken, the film runs for 51 minutes.
