Synopsis
A Hmong human rights activist in California receives an unexpected visit from a man who may be a CIA operative. This encounter occurs forty years after the Vietnam War, when the CIA recruited Hmong tribesmen in Laos to combat Communist forces. Following the war, many of these fighters were resettled in the United States as refugees. The activist is approached about purchasing weapons to continue the fight, raising questions about the legacy of that conflict.
