Synopsis

Homosexual behavior among Canadian soldiers during and after World War II is examined through the experiences of five veterans who faced severe repercussions for their identities. Initially overlooked by the military, increasing scrutiny led to military tribunals, imprisonment, and public exposure as the war progressed. After the conflict, many officers were discharged, resulting in ruined reputations and careers.
