Synopsis

Reverend Albert Wagner, an 82-year-old outsider artist, reflects on his life in Alabama. Raised in a Southern environment, he faced challenges that led to a turn toward religion at age 50. This shift inspired him to paint, gaining attention from a predominantly White audience. His artwork often critiques lifestyles within the African-American community, provoking mixed reactions. The film documents Wagner's struggles with his past and questions of redemption through art. Directed by Thomas G. Miller, it runs for 81 minutes.
