Synopsis
Umm el-Fahm, the largest Arab village in Israel, serves as the backdrop for a narrative about Palestinians who remained on their land after the establishment of Israel in 1948. Many of these individuals formed farming communities, but they have since lost most of their land to Israeli kibbutz and moshav settlements. Today, they commute to work in Israeli cities or farm land that is no longer theirs, facing discrimination in housing, employment, and education despite their citizenship.
