Synopsis

Shu Haolun's family has lived in Dazhongli, one of Shanghai's oldest neighborhoods, for three generations. As the area faces demolition for new skyscrapers and shopping centers, Shu documents his memories of narrow alleys and bustling courtyards. Through his camera, he preserves the communal life of his childhood in a city that is rapidly changing. The film runs for 70 minutes and was released in 2006.
