Synopsis

Maxim Lapchuk and Sasha Antipov set out to conquer the Silk Road Mountain Race in Kyrgyzstan, a grueling 2,000-kilometer cycling challenge. The race features extreme temperatures ranging from +40 to -15 degrees Celsius and a total elevation gain of 30,000 meters. In 2023, Lapchuk prepared for three years, while Antipov committed just a week before the event. Peter Barabaki's film captures their experiences and reflects on the nature of ambition, risk, and the pursuit of dreams.
