Synopsis

Kharkiv's nightclub features suspension performances where participants pierce their bodies to hang from hooks. Many participants are teenagers drawn to heavy music and body art. This practice acts as a protest against societal norms and allows for an escape through pain. Five years later, when war broke out in Ukraine, the perception of pain changed, as many of these young people became involved in military and volunteer efforts.
