Synopsis
Kelsey O'Connor reflects on her experience with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) during the Covid-19 pandemic. Using the metaphor of a junk drawer emptied onto a trampoline, she illustrates the chaotic thought processes that accompany ADHD. The 25-minute documentary addresses the high rates of undiagnosed ADHD in women and the societal implications of this issue. Through personal anecdotes and family insights, O'Connor advocates for increased awareness and understanding of ADHD. Directed by Afton Quast Saler, "Neurodivergent" was released in 2021.
