Malva, a 95-year-old transvestite, reflects on her life during a year and a half of interviews. She outlived the average life expectancy of a trans person by three times. Marlene Wayar, a Trans referent, joins her to discuss Malva's militant activities and their significance. The film presents their conversations and insights into Malva's experiences and contributions to the community. "Named Like A Flower" runs for 63 minutes and was released in 2020.
