Synopsis

Ruth and Elisapie sit in their homes in Pond Inlet, Nunavut. They recall a tragedy that struck their community in 1943 when 25 residents died in a matter of days. The population was more than half diminished by the events. Their stories reflect the past and its lingering impact on the community. The film runs for 76 minutes.
