Synopsis

Raffael, a young father recovering from a suicide attempt, creates a 10-foot screw sculpture with the help of a sculptor friend after leaving a psychiatric hospital. Over six months, he documents his artistic process using a found video camera while traveling to significant locations such as the Dachau concentration camp, Van Gogh’s grave, the Guggenheim Museum, and the Ganges River in India. As he seeks to redefine his life through art, Raffael grapples with feelings of abandonment from his son and the challenges of reintegrating into his family.
