Synopsis
A portrait of Khomeini once hung prominently in Pegah Ahangarani's childhood home before it was replaced without explanation.
Synopsis
Pegah Ahangarani recalls her childhood in Iran, where soldiers on television sparked her belief that any one of them could be her father. During her early years, he fought at the front lines while a portrait of Ayatollah Khomeini dominated their home. One day, the image of Khomeini vanished without explanation, replaced by another photograph. This 19-minute documentary reflects on Ahangarani's memories and the shifting symbols of authority in her upbringing.
