Synopsis
Zara, a 7-year-old girl, begins her first day at Islamia Primary School in Nottingham after leaving a state primary school. Meanwhile, Aysha, a 12-year-old, navigates her new role as the only white student at Islamia Secondary, a girls-only institution. Both girls encounter a curriculum that includes national subjects alongside Islamic Studies, Urdu, and Arabic.
