Synopsis
Shane has spent a decade managing Bipolar Disorder with a regimen of mood stabilizers, antidepressants, and anti-anxiety medications. He has lost his job, girlfriend, and friends along the way. Directed by Mia Mullarkey, Mood Atlas follows Shane as a team of brain researchers maps his brain. Psychological tests administered to him provide insight into his mental state, allowing a deeper understanding of his experiences and search for hope in neuroscience. The documentary runs for 24 minutes.
