Synopsis
Dr. Alison Cronin, MBE, leads a dedicated team at Monkey World, the largest primate rescue centre in Dorset. The documentary follows their efforts to rescue and rehabilitate abused and neglected primates, many facing severe mental and physical challenges. Primate Care Staff work closely with these animals, preparing them for reintegration into social groups. The film captures medical emergencies, births, and the difficult choices involved in their care. It also documents Dr. Cronin's global travels to advocate for primates affected by the pet trade and exploitation.
