Synopsis

On Oahu's North Shore in the 1990s, Kelly Slater, Rob Machado, and Taylor Knox formed a group known as the Momentum Generation. Their distinct surfing styles gained them recognition and changed the sport. As they rose in professional surfing, the pressures of competition began to strain their friendships. Directed by Michael Zimbalist, Momentum Generation runs for 104 minutes and features significant moments from their careers and the growth of surfing culture.
