Miss Mermaid

Synopsis

At the fishing port of Fécamp in Normandy, 32-year-old Alexia works as a maid but dreams of a different life. She transforms into a mermaid, complete with a large, scaled tail, and finds solace in the sea. Her aspirations take a new direction when she enters the Miss Sirène France contest. Over the course of a year, Alexia undergoes intense training, including early morning runs and pool workouts, while revealing her vulnerabilities and ambitions to those around her.
