Synopsis

Strogino and Shchukino are home to a vibrant community of winter swimming enthusiasts known as walruses. Filmmakers Genrikh Ignatov and his friend immerse themselves in this culture, seeking to connect with local walrus clubs. As they engage with the swimmers, they confront challenges related to representation and the ethics of portraying a subculture from an outsider's perspective. The project evolves, prompting discussions about the filmmakers' relationship with their subjects and the nature of their creative process.
