Mini Marathon Man - India
Synopsis
Budhia Singh, the youngest marathon runner, faces concerns over his intense training regimen.
Synopsis
In May 2006, Budhia Singh, the youngest marathon runner in the world at just four years old, captures attention with his remarkable ability to run long distances. Under the guidance of coach Biranchi Das, Budhia trains rigorously, averaging 30 km a day. Following Budhia's astonishing seven-hour, 65 km run, concerns arise regarding his well-being and the potential abuse he faces due to his intense training regimen. While Budhia expresses his love for running, stating, 'I don't get tired,' the government voices worries about the health risks associated with such extreme physical demands at such a young age. Critics argue that he should be focusing on his education rather than being forced to train for marathons.
