Synopsis
Ihor sits in his cramped apartment, surrounded by the stark walls of a building facing an Orthodox cathedral. He works from home for a taxi answering service, feeling trapped in his routine. To combat the monotony, Ihor cultivates sunflowers on his balcony and creates rotoscoping animations using an outdated black-and-white printer. These activities become vital expressions of his creativity and resistance against the bleakness of his daily life. The film runs for 26 minutes and was released in 2019.
