Synopsis
Ed, a 90-year-old widower, faces the sale of his family home and the planning of his own funeral. His solace comes from Tuesday night choir practice with a male voice choir that has an average age of 74. As the choir struggles with a dwindling bass section, Ed and the remaining members seek to recruit younger singers, specifically “brown-haired men” in their 40s and 50s, to ensure the future of their musical tradition.
