Melting Icecream

Synopsis

In the warehouse of the Korea Democracy Foundation, a bundle of old roll films labeled "Film damaged by the flood" is discovered. Efforts to restore these films lead to visits with photographers who documented the era. As the restoration progresses, previously hidden narratives emerge, revealing the struggles of workers who opposed the actions of leaders from the democratization movement after they assumed power. The film captures the gradual unveiling of these erased histories and the context surrounding them.
