Synopsis
Konstantin Melnikov stood out at the 1925 International Art Exhibition in Paris. Le Corbusier praised his pavilion as worthy of attention. Melnikov designed Lenin's sarcophagus and constructed various clubs and garages. His most significant work was his own house, which later confined him. His career ended when a former student imposed a ban on him. All his later projects remained unbuilt, existing only on paper. The documentary details Melnikov's rise and decline in the Soviet architectural scene.
