Synopsis
At the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, engineers construct and prepare two rovers for their mission to Mars. "Spirit" and "Opportunity" are designed to gather data about the Martian surface. The documentary captures the technical challenges faced during their development and the excitement leading up to their launch in 2003. The film runs for 57 minutes and is part of the NOVA series.
