Synopsis

Four women in Boise, Idaho, carry babies for intended parents in a city known as the unofficial surrogacy capital of the United States. Each surrogate discusses her reasons for participating in surrogacy and the emotional hurdles she faces. As they build relationships with families, they encounter societal views on motherhood and the ethics surrounding surrogacy. The film depicts the expanding surrogacy industry in Boise and the supportive community that aids these women and the families they serve.
