Synopsis
Bum Phillips, the unconventional coach of the Houston Oilers in the 1970s, transformed a struggling football team into a cultural phenomenon. Known for his cowboy hats and folksy one-liners, Phillips fostered a family-first atmosphere, recruiting players labeled as 'misfits' and 'has-beens.'
