Synopsis

In 2019, Cryosave, a Swiss company, declared bankruptcy, causing distress for many parents who had stored their newborns' umbilical cord blood. The company had marketed its services as a safeguard against over 80 illnesses, attracting hundreds of thousands of clients. Without notice, Cryosave transferred more than 300,000 stem cell samples to a lab in Poland. Parents now face uncertainty regarding the safety and accessibility of their children's biological materials. The documentary addresses the ethical issues involved in this corporate failure.
