Los Boys

Synopsis

In Palpalá, a town in the province of Jujuy, Argentina, a group of adolescents aged 12 to 18 form The Boys Street, a breakdancing crew. They gained recognition by reaching the finals of the reality television show Talento Argentino. Using their own video cameras, the group documents their experiences during the competition, contrasting their raw portrayal with the polished aesthetics of mainstream media. Los Boys captures their daily lives in a community once known as the "Mother of Industry," now facing the aftermath of economic decline following the 1990s privatizations.
