Peter Repka, Ivan Laučík, and Ivan Štrpka formed the literary group "The Lonely Runners" in 1963. Their manifesto, “The Merits of Three-legged Nightingales,” set forth ideals of honesty and righteousness. Despite living in Germany, Liptovsky Mikulas, and Bratislava, their friendship endured. The film captures a rare meeting of the poets as they revisit significant places and connect with friends, reflecting on their influential contributions to Slovak poetry.
