Synopsis

Bai Nu and Liu Buhan, both in their eighties, live in Xiayao Village, Youyu County, Shanxi Province. They have spent over 40 years together, raising their children who are now grandparents themselves. Despite their age, Bai and Liu still work in the fields each day. Bai, who has bound feet, struggles to navigate the terrain, often kneeling in the mud. The film captures their daily lives and the generational tensions surrounding the care of the elderly.
