Synopsis

Zhou Hao, known as Little Angel, grew up in a rural house church where many congregants are illiterate. His parents nurtured his talent for imitation despite his congenital intellectual disability. Now over 30, Zhou Hao preaches love and faith, drawing on passages from the Bible he learned while attending church with his grandmother. The film captures his life against the backdrop of a society shaped by the Cultural Revolution, reflecting the spiritual void and absurdity of contemporary life.
