Synopsis

In 1996, poets Adrienne Rich and Dionne Brand engage in a profound dialogue that explores themes of feminism, racism, and politics. Set against the backdrop of the United States, Tobago, and Canada, their conversations unfold in everyday settings, such as kitchen tables and quiet corridors. Rich, an influential American feminist poet, and Brand, a Trinidadian-Canadian writer and filmmaker, share their perspectives with honesty and depth.
