A burglar insists he is a moonlighting accountant after being caught in the act. A young boy confesses to a crime he did not commit, caught in a web of lies. A woman reveals that her life has been built on deception. "Lies," directed by Jonas Odell, presents three true stories that focus on the consequences of dishonesty. Each narrative illustrates how lies affect personal identity and relationships. The documentary runs for 13 minutes and was produced in Sweden in 2008.
