Letters to Vincent

Synopsis

Saint-Rémy-de-Provence houses a mental institution where Vincent van Gogh spent a year during a turbulent period in his life. While there, he created many of his renowned paintings and wrote numerous letters. Today, female patients at the same institution engage in painting, echoing Van Gogh's artistic pursuits. In "Letters to Vincent," these patients write letters back to him, reflecting on their experiences and the comfort they find in art. The film runs for 25 minutes and connects past and present through shared creativity.
