Synopsis

At their former estate in Vyatka, Alexander Leonidovich and Raisa Nikiforovna Orlovsky prepare to leave the farm that defined their lives. After years of legal battles with a neighboring collective farm, their family farm has declined. Attempts by their children, Alexei, Nadezhda, and Tatyana, to revive it have failed. As the Orlovskys transition to city life, they grapple with the challenges of leaving behind a place filled with memories of happiness and hardship.
