Chris Parish hunts deer with friend Ben Masters in the wilderness. For over 20 years, Parish has worked to recover raptors and study their decline. Research with The Peregrine Fund revealed that lead fragments from bullets in carcasses are often ingested by scavenging birds, leading to lead poisoning. Parish partners with hunters to encourage voluntary removal of lead from the food chain. His initiatives show local hunters' readiness to participate and aim to expand this message to a wider audience.
