Phil Keoghan, a television host, recreates the 1928 Tour de France ride from Christchurch, New Zealand, home of cyclist Harry Watson, the first New Zealander to compete in the event. Accompanied by Ben Cornell, Keoghan rides 5,600 kilometers over 22 stages in 26 days. They use vintage bikes and follow the original route while contending with the challenges of the race, which saw only 41 of the 164 starters finish.
