Synopsis

João Ricardo de Barros Oliveira, a musician-sound-sculptor, gathers materials from dumps and trash containers in Berlin. He transforms discarded objects into sound sculptures, which he uses in performances and workshops. Born in Viana do Castelo, Oliveira left his hometown to explore new artistic realms. In his sound workshop, he layers sounds without a manual, creating a unique auditory experience. The 32-minute documentary captures his creative process and the unconventional materials that inspire his art.
