Werá, known as MC Kunumi, stood at the center of the lawn during the 2014 World Cup opening ceremony in Brazil. He unfurled a banner demanding the demarcation of indigenous lands. A teenager from the Krukutu village in São Paulo, Kunumi is a writer, composer, and rap singer. This 13-minute documentary, co-produced with Hora Mágica, captures his bold act of protest and its significance within the context of indigenous rights in Brazil.
